• This week is the 1 Year Anniversary of This Blog!!! I want to thank all of my loyal readers for all your support!! I really love having a great tool for posting ideas and sharing what I love with all of you!! Keep reading and stamping!!

I held the annual Christmas Party for the "Ink"redible Stampers’ Club this weekend. Like last year we celebrated with an Ornament Buffet!! This year’s ornaments were a BIG hit, and everyone took home lots of fun ornaments for gifts, or just for decorating their own trees!! I’ll try to get pictures taken and posted later this week!!

I also gave all the club members their Christmas Gifts at the Party. Everyone got a Stampin’ Up! bag tag. I picked these up at Leadership last January and I’ve been hanging onto them ALL year for Christmas Gifts!! Also they got 3 color choices of Twinkling H2Os from LuminArte. Twinkling H2O’s are GREAT watercolors, they really add some sparkle and shimmer to your stamped projects. I always enjoy giving Twinkling H2O’s as a gift item this time of year because everyone’s looking for a way to add that little special sparkle to their stamped projects!! I wrapped their gifts up in this cute box, which was sized to fit one of the Glass Ornaments they made at the Ornament Buffet. Everyone got instructions to recreate the box so they could give their ornaments as gifts wrapped with style!!

  • I love the convienence of online shopping. It’s so much easier to sit down with a list, but the gifts you want for everyone, and have them shipped straight home to you! It’s so much easier than fighting the crowds at the stores! When I go out to the stores during the holidays I can enjoy the atmosphere and decorations, I can pick up a few "extra" gifts, but big stuff is finished!! (On a side note, this is also one of the things I LOVE about shopping with Stampin’ Up! I buy my crafts at home in my jammies!!)

But of course once the gifts start arriving I’ve got boxes everywhere and presents that need to be handles!! So the boxes go off the the recycling center and this year I decided to get my gifts wrapped early so I can enjoy them under my tree for the whole season!! Stampin’ Up! had such beautiful wrapping paper and wrapping ideas this year I just want to set them under my tree and look at them!! Here’s a look at some of the items I started wrapping – notice some of the fun embelishments I made for the packages. Stampin’ Up! has some great accessories.

  • I received a great gift in the mail today from my Secret Sister. This fun Pop-Top can is done in one of my favorite color combinations for this holiday season. The first picture is of the can closed.

And the next picture is the can after I’ve opened it. The can was full of Jelly Beans, Yummy!! Once all the candy is finished I plan on using the can on my desk as a fun holiday decoration. I’m sure I’ll find something fun to put inside. If you need information on how to create one of these fun pop-top cans e-mail me!

  • Everytime I see something new done with the scallop punch I’m amazed. This simple little punch can create some serious cuteness!! I saw this idea online the other day and I had to run to my scrap bucket and make some for myself. These cute little Turkies are made completely out of the Scallop Punch – punch a bunch of colors out of scrap paper – cut and glue – SO SIMPLE! Wouldn’t these look great on the Thanksgiving Place Card Holders we made at club last month??? You could mix your table with a Pumpkin here and a Turkey there!

Check out all the great Punches Stampin’ Up! has to offer and then E-mail me with pictures of your fun Punched creations. I’ll feature them in the "Your Creations" section of the blog!!

  • Crista shared an adorable little Peek-A-Boo box with us at our team meeting this month. They are the perfect little box for stocking stuffers and office gifts!! She brought everyone at the meeting one of these boxes.

    Image0105

The peek-a-boo part comes when you open the lid.

    Image0104

Open the little peek-a-boo flap and inside is a decorated Peppermint Patty. We made these Peppermint Patties at the meeting. They are so quick and easy. Just use the scallop punch to punch out Designer Series Paper, adhere them to the Peppermint Patty, they decorate the top with some quick stamping and circle punching. They are so much fun and TOO cute!! Here’s a close up of the Patty.

  • I don’t think there’s a single question I get asked more often than this one: "Why do your projects always look so great? What are you doing that I’m not"? and the answer is usually so simple…

Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive colors. When all of your Paper, Ink, Embellishments, and Ribbons are designed to coordinate with each-other and the Color are divided up into families that you can choose from to guarantee a successful match you can’t go wrong!

How many of you have had this experience? (And I know you all have): You find just the perfect paper at the store, you love the colors and the pattern. Then you spend what seems like hours wondering around the store holding the paper up to other papers, ribbons, brads, and more. You’re trying to find items that will show off your pretty paper. Most of the times you’ll settle on something that’s "Close Enough"

But with Stampin’ Up! I simply choose the paper I want to work with and I can start layering on accessories with the confidence that they’ll match. I get to spend all that time and energy on the fun part, creating my project and tweaking the design to work out just right.

Try it out! I’m confident that you’ll love the projects you create with Stampin’ Up!’s exclusive coordinating colors! I’ve even created this Coordination Guide to help you select the colors that will work best with Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. Don’t forget these papers are on sale this month!!

If you would like more information about any of the products I mentioned, contact me.
