Inkredible Stamping

Hi Stampers!

I'm excited to be invited again to be a Guest Designer for Create with Connie and Mary. This time I'm creating for the Summer Collection! Today's card gives you a sneak peek at the stamp set I'll be using for my project this edition (which I'm SUPER excited about putting together!!!).

The stamp set is Gifts of Kindness, one of the sets in the Gingham Garden Suite. When I first saw this stamp I though it would make a fabulous Black and White card! But I have a hard time sticking to Just Black and White … so I added just a little punch of color with the new Strawberry Slush.

With the color refresh coming out in this new catalog I had used down a lot of my embelishments and ribbons – and I haven't stocked by up much yet – so I challenged myself to create an simple silhouette card with limited embelishments!

I used all paper to create the layers on the band across he card, and I cut out the flowers and added them over the stamped image with Stampin' Diminsionals to add some pop to the card. I did add just a few Pearls to the centers of the flowers to break up the black!
