When I saw a cross stitch kit in the Spring Mini I fell in LOVE! I've
been cross stitching since I was very little and fun cards featuring a
bit of cross stitching (with floss in SU COLORS) and some stamping is
just about perfect in my book!!

Since it does take a little longer to cross stitch than to stamp, I
wanted to get these cards made up quickly so they were ready to use when
I needed them. I decided a cute little card pocket was a perfect
compliment to the card set! Now I have my cards hanging on the wall
right next to my desk so I can grab them easily, and when the cards are
gone I can refill it with another card set!

BLOG CANDY!

I've got a FREE subscription to Create with Connie and Mary Spring 2013 Edition to give away!! So leave a comment here on MY blog today January 15, 2013 for your chance to win!

We'll announce the winners Sunday! Don't worry…if you already have signed up to take advantage of the Early Bird Savings we'll apply your win to our next Edition! After you leave your comment to enter to win my blog candy go over to Create with Connie and Mary and grab my FREE TUTORIAL for making this project! It's a GREAT simple project for first time cross stitchers to get
started and a fast, fun project for crafters who are more experienced at
it!

This is just “sew” cute! I am an avid needleworker so this is just right up my alley! I have hoops I can use and this will look so great in my hobby room that needs a total clean up. Maybe this can be the first step? Thanks for the cute idea. I love your blog too.

Interesting way to use a hoop. I especially like the way you tied the ribbon to hide the screw used to tighten the hoop.
