Inkredible Stamping

I'm here with this week's Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. This week we were given a sketch to inspire our creations…

I've been fighting a spring cold the past week or so and the creativity has not been flowing so It was nice to jump into this week's sketch challenge and get the juices flowerin again! Button Buddies is one of my favorite sets so I decided to play with it and fall back on my favorite color combo (As you can obviously tell from my blog design – lol) of Cherry Cobbler, Wisteria Wonder, and Pink Pirouette. I added a touch of Basic Black this time and I like the pop it adds to the combo!

I LOVE the way the card came out – although the photograph isn't really doing the card much justice (sorry about that – I kept getting a wonky effect with my stripes on the greeting and the sparkle just doesn't want to shine in the photo) I added some sparkle to the card with the Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink. I put some dots in the scallops and then sparkled up the faint background flowers and randomly sparkled the Cherry Cobbler flower petals. So it looks a little grainy in the photo but imagine a subtle shimmer on the flowers in real life! 🙂
