Inkredible Stamping

I'm here with this week's Create with Connie and Mary Challenge. This time we had a color challenge…

The Colors for this Challenge, Poppy Parade, So Saffron, and Basic Gray usually make me think of masculine cards but I though it would be fun to play with them as a bright spring type card. 

I used the Aviary stamp set to create one Bird hanging in  his home in the sky and stamped another bird stopping by for a visit. I think it came out fun – a nice … just checking in card for a friend!

I used the Cupcake Punch to put a few subtle clouds in the sky and I used the Adorning Accents Edgelit Die to cut a trim for the bottom of the card. At first my plan was to use the normal scallops at the bottom but when I saw the "scrap" upside down part of the scallops I though it fit very well with the look of the cage so I used it instead!
