Last fall my friends Shannda and Eric got married – They are just so sweet together, a FABULOUS couple and I'm so happy for them. I had a LOT of fun helping Shannda with her programs and favors but I was too busy to blog and didn't get a chance to share with everyone. I'll take some pictures of the program I designed for her, and put them up online for you all to see, but while you're waiting, I DID remember to snap a quick picture of the wedding present I made for them.
I found a wooden floating frame out shopping one day and I snatched it up because I just knew I would come up with something fun to do with it. It turned out to be the perfect item for Shannda (And Eric too but let's be honest It's all about the Bride isn't it?).
Shannda's colors for her Wedding were Rose and Green so I started with a Piece of Kiwi Kissfrom the Bella Rose DSP (Designer Series Paper). I cut it down to size so there was still a nice border of glass showing in the floating frame. Then I cut out some roses from another piece of Bella Rose DSP to hold their picture in place. I added the "Always" rub-on from Chateau Bella rub-ons next to the photo.
Next I attached some pieces from the Flourishes vinyl Decor Elements to the front piece of glass randomly. I put everything together and attached some ribbon to the top.
Sorry the picture is a little hard to see – I snapped this very quickly on the chair before I wrapped the gift up. You can't see the ribbon in the picture, it kinda fell behind the frame – you can see it showing a little through the top glass. I'm happy I though to snap a quick picture so I could share it with everyone. I with thrilled with how it turned out.
