The Snail Leash

One of the items that was included in my team gift bags is a Snail Leash. If you’re anything like me you’re forever loosing your Adhesive under a pile of paper on the table when your crafting! The Snail Leash is the perfect solution!!

The Snail Leash is so simple to make. You simply take one fo those badge holder reels and decorate them. I used the Scallop Circle punch as a base, added a layer of the new Riding Hood Red designer series paper and a Baja Breeze Button. Then you attach it to the Badge reel with a Glue Dot.


I removed the plastic clip part from the badge holder. To attach it to your SNAIL you just remove the cover, and then catch the plastic end in the snail and clip your cover back on.

    Julie: I am not totally sure I understand how you attached it to the SNAIL. How about a different picture of that? Thanks!

    Kim,
    I’m at convention right now… so I can’t do another picture right away .. but let me see if I can explain better 🙂
    – Open your SNAIL.
    – Set Aside the part w/the adhesive in it..
    – Take the back part of the Case – hold it in your hand.
    – Pull the Coil on the SNAIL Leash out.
    – Hook the plastic end of the SNAIL Leash on the case up at the top where you press to open the case.
    – Pull the cord around that button part up the other side
    – Holding that in place snap the Adhesive part of the case back on and it’ll catch the cord in between the two pieces of the case..
