  • Hi Stampers, Saleabration is almost over!!! So if you have SAB items you're hoping to earn free get those orders in or give me a call!! (March 31st at 11:59 MT is your last chance to earn free product!)

One of my favorite SAB stamp sets is the Sky's the Limit set – it's the first one I got!! We created this card at last month's Stamp Camp.

    IMG_3146

I used the Build a Tree punch to sponge the larger clouds in the sky – I wanted a little pop of color and settled on Real Red – although I think you could Pop this card with any color – Daffodil Delight or Strawberry Slush would both be great pop colors too!

Which Saleabration stamp set was your favorite??

  • Hi Stampers,

There is just over 2 weeks left to earn FREE stamp sets during Sale-a-bration (get all the details here). This card is one of cards we made at last month's stamp camp. We used the SAB – Honeycomb Happiness stamp set.

Daffodil Delight and Basic Black is one of my favorite color combos and the printed flowers Designer Series Paper in Everyday Chic paper was perfect for a spring look on this card.

  • Hi Stampers,

One of my "Must Have" sets from the Spring catalog was the Friends & Flowers set. I love fish go the cute little punched out fishy caught my eye right away! But for our Stamp Camp last weekend I was working on Spring or Easter themed cards so I decided to create a card using the Bunny from the set.

IMG_3107A lot of the stampers were going to add a Happy Easter greeting to this card – but I went with a Congratulations greeting from Balloon Celebrations – I think this is a great card for a Baby Card or a first Birthday!

The card is Pink Pirouette and Old Olive – I Love the pink and green for spring! The Polka Dot Paper is from Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.

  • Hi Stampers,

Recently Mom had a Tea Party to attend. They were all supposed to bring along a favorite tea to share – Mom's favorite Tea is Vanilla Almond from Republic of Tea. We though it would be fun to dress up the team bags in a little take home favor bag. So I pulled out the A Nice Cuppa stamp set and cordinating framelits. We stamped and die cut the tea cups with a "You're Tea-riffic" greeting on the cups. A perfect addition to our cello bags stapled shut and tied with ribbon.

    IMG_3098

One of the reasons Mom loves the Vanilla Almond tea is it comes in a Decaf option that taste just as good as the regular – so she can still hear her tea later in the day ๐Ÿ™‚ We decided to give everyone the option and made the cups a different color so we can tell them apart

IMG_3095The favors were quick and fun to make!

  • Hi Stampers,

Last weekend was my monthly stamp camp. Two of the cards we created were inspired by a Global Design Project Sketch #gdp014. The first one uses the Bloomin' Love stamp set

    LoveInTheAir

for the second one I changed up the size to a note card and we used the Saleabration set What I Love (which you can earn free with a $50.00 order)

    IMG_3086

I also added a little bling to the center of the flower with Wink of Stella.

I love using sketches as a jumping off point for creating a card – it's much better than staring at a blank piece of paper and trying to decide what to create ๐Ÿ™‚

You can purchase all the products to create these cards in my Stampin' Up Store.

  • Hi Stampers,

I needed a few Thank You cards and I was itching to play with the new Wink of Stella Glitter Brush so I made up a few of these cards using Grateful Bunch and the Sale-a-bration set Flowering Fields.

    2016-01-14-01.58.21-1

It's hard to get a good picture of the pretty Wink of Stella – you can see in this close up that I applied it to the flower petals after coloring them – but it's much less "shiny" and much more glittery in person. I LOVE IT! (And for all my fellow Firefly fans out there you'll understand that I started laughing after I typed that sentence because I though to myself – actually the cards very Shiny!)

  • Hi Stampers,

It's a cold and chilly night in St. Louis – I was supposed to have our Monthly Stamp, Snack, and Chat crop night tonight but decided to cancel because of our snow forecast…. Well the snow didn't come but the cold did – so it's still nice to be snug inside. I decided to work on my December Paper Pumpkin kit tonight – It's a very pretty calendar kit.

    Dec2015blog

I've seen some FABULOUS alternate ideas to create cards with the kit instead of the calendar – so I'm not sure which way I'll go yet – but I know I'll have fun creating! I love getting my Creative Escape in the mail every month – it's so great to have projects designed, cut, and ready to go … and I'm adding to my stamp collection.

If you're not already a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber you can get started right now – and The 3 month pre-paid Subscription is on sale!!

  • Hi Stampers,

This fun present stack was created as one of the decorations at the Christmas Stamp a Stack – I got busy at the class this year and didn't get as many pictures as I normally do at the classes – fortunately I did snap a picture of the present stack outside before we left ๐Ÿ™‚

    PresentStack

I used some of our Envelope Papers to wrap the boxes – When I just cut them to the size I needed and pieced a couple of sheets together – the seams hide nicely under the ribbon!

The tag on the box comes from the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit – look at all the tags you can create from this kit…
