CARD: Spooky Bones

Hi Stampers,

I'm back today with a quick and fun card. This one features one of my FAVORITE holiday sets – Cookie Cutter Halloween.

My Grandma was well known for her FABULOUS decorated Sugar Cookies. She created them as gifts and While she mostly did Christmas Cookies – she loved to collect and create cookies for all the Holidays – so when I saw this Cookie Cutter Halloween along with the cordinating Cookie Cutter Christmas sets in the Holiday catalog, I knew they were a MUST OWN!! A great way to honor her and combine two of her loves – Stamping and Cookie Decorating!

This card is quick and easy – a great one to pull out when you need a Halloween Birthday card. Also great when you're creating invites to an October party.

CARD: Ghosting Technique

Hi Stampers,

At my September Stamp Camp our Technique was Ghosting!

ghost·ing [goh-sting] noun: the appearance of a ghost or secondary image, especially one appearing as a white shadow.

A spooky technique called for a spooky fun card.

Ghosting is a very simple technique. First you stamp a solid image (like the Witch on this card) in Whisper White ink on Dark Card stock. Let is dry a bit. Then stamp over it, just slightly offset, with a color. For this card we used a tone on tone look with the Basic Gray ink. But it works great with other colors as well!

CARD: Orange Peel Technique

Hi Stampers,

Each month at Stamp Camp we lean a new Stampin' Technique. Last month's technique was called Orange Peel Technique – a fun technique that was shared at the April On Stage (a training event for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators)

The Orange Peel technique is a fabulous "Wet Look" for watercolor images with the texture of an orange peel! You can see the shine and texture in this close up.

CARD: Beary Merry Christmas

Hi Stampers, I am so in love with just about everything in the new Holiday Catalog!! Have you seen it??? It's fabulous. (download a copy here) Here's just one quick and cute card created with one of my favorites – Cookie Cutter Christmas!

If there's one thing in my family we love as much as stamping – it's cut out cookies. So this set if full of Christmas Holiday traditions!! You get to stamp and punch out a Reindeer, Gingerbread Man, Santa, Eskimo, and there's a WHOLE additional set for Halloween.

Hi Stampers,

My all time favorite flower ever is the Hydrangea. I'm sure those of you who know of my love of all things purple and light blue are not surprised in the least 🙂 So of course I was super excited when I saw a few ways to create Hydrangea type flowers with the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set. We will be stamping this sweet note card at Stamp Camp on Saturday (Come Join Us).

The flowers are stamped with Sweet Sugarplum and Soft Sky using the little tree stamp from Thoughtful Branches! The Stems are the Snowy ground stamp. A Stroke of Genius Brithday Card

Hi Stampers,

I love the Birthday greeting in the Painter's Palette stamp set! For this card I added a little "artistic flair" by stamping the brush strokes randomly down the side of Whisper White card stock.

I wasn't sure of the color combo when I started but I think it's now one of my FAVORITES! Sweet Sugar Plum, Perfect Plum, and Blushing Bride are a trendy but soft color combo!

I added just a hint of Wink of Stella to the balloon to give it a sparkle.

Hi Stampers! I LOVE a pretty ombré background on a card! The Layering Love stamp set is a perfect compliment to this beautiful technique!

For this card I used Peekaboo Peach, Tangerine Tango, Flirty Flamingo, and Watermelon Wonder. I wet down a piece of Watercolor Paper and then used the Aqua Painter to brush on the ink, working my way down the paper strip and blending the colors together. I love the way the banner came out!

I punched the bottom with the Banner Triple Punch and topped the banner with a Bow clip. I kept most of the card simple to really let the banner shine and stand out!
