  • Do You Need a Spiral Bound 2017-18 Stampin’ Up! Catalog?

    Hi Stampers!!

    The 2017-18 Stampin' Up! catalogs are in the house!!! 🙂

    I love getting the new Idea Book and this year's catalog is full of fun new colors and lots of inspiration you can CASE and share!

    Years ago I decided I needed to make one small alteration to my catalog to make it easier to use. I spiral bind it – it's makes it so nice and easy to lay the book on my work table open to the idea that I'm trying to duplicate or alter!

    And it's become a tradition for me to offer my Spiral Binding services to all of you as well!!!! So I've been a busy bee Spiral Binding the catalogs and sending them out!!

  • TECHNIQUE: Faux Torn Paper

    Hi Stampers,

    Last month at Stamp Camp our featured technique was Faux Torn Paper. This is one of my favorite and easiest techniques!

    Faux Torn Paper

    Definition: Creating the look of a torn paper layer on flat card stock.

    1. Tear the edge of a post it note.
    2. Place the post it note on card stock to mask an area
    3. Sponge Ink and Stamp Randomly on card stock.
    4. Remove the post it note mask to reveal your Faux Tearing

    144728GThis technique is a great way to add a little dimension to your projects without adding thickness and weight!

    For this card I used Mint Macaroon, Tip Top Taupe, and Sweet Sugarplum to create a pretty spring card featuring the
    Dragonfly Dreams Bundle.

    I added a little Metallic Gold Thread behind the Dragonfly to add a little pop of shimmer and also give a feel of movement on the card!

    The Delicate Details Stamp Set is already a favorite Sale-A-Bration product. But when you see how versatile it is you'll want it even more! In this project Stampin' Up!  used the artwork to create custom paper and then turned it into a butterfly with a Framelits die. Using a single lacy image along the right edge, ties everything together.

    Hi Stampers, Love is in the air – Valentines Day is coming up fast!! We stamped this sweet Valentine card at Stamp Camp last month.

    I adore the Sealed with Love Bundle – the stamps are adorable and the coordinating dies are too much fun!! The little envelopes and sending love greeting will work year round for notes – just change up the colors and you've got a new look! Who you would send this sweet Love Note card to??

  • CARD: Nailed It Valentines

    Hi Stampers,

    The new Nailed It stamp set in the Occasions Catalog is perfect for Father's Day cards – but I wanted to play around with it and create cards for other occasions like this Valentines Card.

    For this Valentines I combined Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper with Pink Pirouette card stock. I embossed the card stock with the Woodgrain embossing folder. I think the "I knew I liked you the first time I saw You" greeting is so sweet!

    When I was finished playing with a Valentines Version of the card, I used a similar layout and other images from the set to create different options. Look at the versatility…
