• Hi Stampers,

Over the weekend I worked on a quick and easy crafty project – and you want to know the best part???? Everything was cut, planned out, and ready to go for me!! That was a BIG treat!!

I was planning on sharing a small sample with my Produce Coop group of the Honey Roasted Peanuts – I though they were a perfect summer time snack! I had planned just top put a small amount in a cello bag and tie 'em with a ribbon – but when the June Paper Pumpkin Kit showed up in my Mail Box – I though – PERFECT now I can dress up my samples for the 4th of July!

    June-Paper-Pumpkin

The June kit came with enough supplies to make 24 of these fun pinwheels – so between my kit and Mom's kit we had enough to dress up the samples for coop AND do a different project at stamp camp over the weekend (which I'll share with you later in the week)

    July-4th

There were three different paper patterns in the kit – and while they clearly say "July 4th" the colors would also be great for a Birthday Party – I'm thinking carnival theme?? that would be super cute.

I put them all in a basket with a blue liner – and it looks so cute sitting on the table..

  • Hi Stampers,

Today I'm sharing another project from last Month's Stamp Camp. This fun treat pouch was shared during the Stampin' Up! Catalog Premiere. It's so quick and easy I had to share!!

    IMG_0265

Are you wondering how to make this pouch – I've got an instruction sheet for you!! At my stamp camps everyone gets an instruction sheet with each project so they can remember how to recreate it when they get home.

    Download Treat Pouch Instruction Sheet

At stamp camp we used Sticky Strip to put our treat pouches together – but they go together even FASTER when you use the new Fast Fuse Adhesive…

  • Hi Stampers,

A few days ago I shared a Wedding Shower Card I made for my Cousin's Fiance … today I though I would share the gift.

As I said both the Bride and Groom are Animal people (Zoo Keeper and Dog Trainer – see Animal People). As many of you who have been following my blog for a while know my Grandma LOVED to do cut out cookies – she did them mostly for holidays – Christmas specifically… So when we found these fun Animal Cookie Cutters at Crate and Barrel we though it was a great way to bring together a family tradition along with something they both love!!

    image from i.c-b.co

My cousin already had Grandma's Cookie recipe in his family recipe cook book – but Mom does have a few changes she's made over the years to the recipe – so I used MDS to make up a recipe card to go with the cookies with Mom's recipe tweaks…

    Recipecardcutoutcookies

We also wanted to include something in the gift that was new to my Cousin as well – so we decided to have fun with a homemade Animal Crackers Cookie!

    Recipecardanimalcrackers

We got the cutters and recipe from King Arthur Flour. And we put the cutters in an empty Animal Crackers Box! It's kinda hard to tell from my picture but I did a faded polka dot background on this recipe card in MDS so it's very fun!

I had a lot of fun creating recipe cards in My Digital Studio and I'm looking forward to creating some more!

  • Hi Stampers,

This weekend I had a 1st Birthday Party to attend and of course that means I need a cute 1st Birthday Card! 🙂

    1stBirthdayCard

I saw a fun card on Mercedes' Blog with the Another Great Year stamp set  and Work of Art stamp set and though it was perfectly my friend's style – I just had to tweak the colors a bit (she's a Green and Pink gal) and add a little bling! 🙂 . I used the Digital Version of the Another Great Year set so I could easily print it onto Whisper White card stock and then add the other stamping over it!

    1stBirthdayCardInside

For the inside of the card I printed out a fun 1st Birthday Greeting and added a little "Digi Stamping" before I wrote my message and signed the card!

I used Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush and Basic Black for my color combo – I found the combo idea on My ColorLab.

  • Hi Stampers,

My Cousin is getting Married at the end of the Summer. This past Monday his Fiance was in town finalizing some of the Wedding Plans and while she was in town we got to take advantage of it and have her Bridal Shower!!

Both of them are Animal People 🙂 so of course I HAD to borrow an idea I've seen all over Pinterest and play with the Owl Punch Bride and Groom for the shower card…

    Owlwedding

The Owl Idea is Borrowed, The Owl Punch is Old, the Stitched Satin Ribbon is New so of course the touch of color had to be Blue! :). The New In Color – Lost Lagoon Blue to be precise.

    OwlWeddingShowerCard

I used Very Vanilla for the card and background – but I layered some of the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum on the background to add some shine.

    OwlCouple

And just a bit more shine on the Owl's Wing. I added a Rhinestone so she's wearing her engagement ring!

I LOVE the way the card turned out – perfect for "Animal" people!

Here'a s quick look at a few of the items I used to create this card:
