  • Hi Stampers,

Yesterday my Paper Pumpkin e-mail went out to my subscribers. Each month they get an exclusive e-mail filled with fun tips, tricks, and tidbits to help them get the most out of their kits.

I also include an Project Instruction Sheet so they can keep creating with their stamp set onces their kit is finished.

For the Spetember Boo-tiful Bags kit I wanted to feature a project that wasn't a Halloween one – the MANY ways you can use the set for Halloween fun are endless – but it's GREAT that the "Eat Something Sweet" stamp in the set can be used all year long.

    Septpaperpumpkinalt

This is what I came up with – a GREAT little candy favor for Birthday Parties, Easter, or Valentines Day. Of even "Just Because"

If you're one of my Paper Pumpkin subscribers be sure to check your e-mails for the exclusive newsletter that includes instructions for creating this fun project.

Want to join my Paper Pumpkin Newsletter List? It's simple – just Sign up for Paper Pumpkin by October 10th!

  • Hi Stampers,

Today I'm back with the slightly altered project for this month's Paper Pumpkin kit that I mentioned to you yesterday.

I didn't  make any BIG changes to this bag – Actually the change I made was SUPER simple. The burlap bags in the kit had a fold over top to close the bag – but I wanted a "sack" that I could stuff with goodies and let them stick out the top.

    Open-Paper-Pumpkin-Bag

So all I did was fold the flap down and carefully tuck it inside the bag! Then I filled my bag with goodies and a little Purple Tissue Paper,

I decorated the bag with the tags, stamps, and accessories included in the kit.

But I though the bag needed just a little bit more – so I pulled out my Fall Fest stamp set and cordinating Framelits – stamped and die cut a ghost and then added the ghost onto a stick so I could slide it inside the pouch… TOO CUTE!! right??

So what did you create with your Paper Pumpkin kits?? I want to see the projects – comment with a link to your blogged or pinned projects! 🙂

  • Hi Stampers,

Today I got to go on a little creative escape – I sat down for about a half hour – set aside all the crazies going on in life – and played around with the Paper Pumpkin kit for this month!! (Not familar with Paper Pumpkin?? Click here to read ALL about it so you can join me on next month's "trip")

I always start out creating one of the projects pretty much exactly as the Kit shows them. It's fun to get creative on your own – but it always helps me to get into the crafting groove when all the designing is already done for me 🙂

    Paper-Pumpkin-September

So this is one of the SUPER cute bags from the September Boo-tiful Bags kit. Check out everything included in the kit and how to put a bag together – watch this video

I made up a few other tag options while I was basically following along with basic kit.

    Paper-Pumpkin-September-2

And now that the creative juices were flowing I started playing around with some different ideas for the kit and tags!

I'll come back tomorrow and share one of those bags with you!!

If you want to join in on the Paper Pumpkin fun next month be sure to sign up by October 10th!

  • Hi Stampers,

I've got a swap card to share with you today – I didn't end up getting my swaps done to taek to Unite and Excite – but a few of the Demonstrators there were generous and shared their swaps with me anyway – SU Demos are the BEST!!

I had to share this Christmas card with you – it's SO pretty!! It was stamped by Ann Nahm – so THANK YOU Ann for sharing with me!!

    The-Newborn-King-1

She stamped the images in Sliver and then embossed with Silver Embossing Powder – it's very elegant!

This card is SO pretty iin person – Hard to get a good picture of it – and it's one of many we'll have on display during the Christmas Card Stamp a Stack and Hot Chocolate Bar – so if you're there be sure to look for this one!!
  • Hi Stampers,

    You're Wonderful Photopolymer Stamp Set

Have you seen the New Photopolymer Stamp Set for September? You're Wonderful is so soft and pretty – I see MANY "Wonderful" cards in my future!!

    You'reWonderful

  • Hi Stampers,

The other day I shared my name tag from Unite and Excite with you – today I've got our Make 'n Take card to share with you.

We used the Seasonally Scattered stamp set on our make 'n take. I love this set – the images are so complex and beautiful that you can do little more than stamp straight onto paper and you have a WOW card.

    Seasonallyscatteredthanks

This card is a great example of this – It's very simpl – a few layers of card stock, the stamped image, and the addition of a few punched flowers embelished with pearls. It went together super fast – but who wouldn't LOVE to get a Thank You card like this in the mail??? I know I would!! 🙂

The Unite and Excite event was so much fun – I'm hoping we'll get more training events like this from Stampin' Up! in the future – If you want to find out more about being a Demonstrator – and how you can attend the next event in our area – contact me.

    Prepaid Paper Pumpkin FAQs

Q: What is a prepaid subscription?
A: Prepaid subscriptions provide an opportunity to purchase several months of Paper Pumpkin all at once.

Q: How many prepaid months can I purchase at once?
A: You can select a subscription for one, three, six, or 12 months.

Q: Is there a discount for ordering a higher number of months at once?
A: Yes, there is a savings. When you order a six-month subscription, you save $1 per month, and when you order a 12-month subscription, you save $2 per month.

Q: Can I order more than one prepaid subscription at once?
A: Each Paper Pumpkin account can only use one redemption code at a time. For example, if someone buys two six-month prepaid subscriptions, they’ll enter the first code and then, after six months, enter the second code.

Q: How are prepaid subscriptions redeemed?
A: When the order is paid for and closed, you will receive an e-mail with a redemption code and instructions on how to redeem. You will enter the code on the Paper Pumpkin site. The system will recognize the number of months you’ve paid for. Be sure to enter all your information on the site so when their prepaid subscription runs out, you will continue to receive Paper Pumpkin kits without interruption.

Q: Can a current subscriber order a prepaid subscription?
A: Of course! After you order and enter the code, the prepaid months will be used up before any future shipments are charged. When the prepaid months are over, the subscription will continue and be charged monthly to the credit card on file.

Q: Can I buy a prepaid subscription with hostess benefits?
A: Yes. If You’re hosting a workshop, a prepaid subscription can be added to either the free or half-priced hostess items. You’ll also earn hostess rewards on any subscriptions you or your guest purchase!!

Q: Can a prepaid subscription be ordered as a gift?
A: Yes. Although this isn’t officially a gift subscription program, you  can buy a prepaid subscription and give it as a gift. You’d just purchase the prepaid subscription and when you receive the redemption code, share it with the recipient of your choice who can redeem the subscription at www.mypaperpumpkin.com. One thing to keep in mind is that the redemption codes will not work across borders. (So, someone in Canada could not gift a subscription to someone is the US and vice versa.)

Q: What happens when a prepaid subscription is not redeemed?
A: Codes will expire after three years (two years for California residents). At that time they will be turned over as unclaimed property.
