Hi Stampers,
Happy Easter Weekend!! I hope you all enjoy the holiday and spending time with your families!
Last month at Stamp Camp one of the projects we made was the little Easter Chick cutie!!
I fell in LOVE with this little guy when I saw him on Pinterest – I'm not sure who the idea originated with but it's too cute!!! So thanks for the inspiration!!
He's sized perfectly to hold a Ghirardelli Chocolate or even wrap around a chocolate bar!
Here's how to make him:
- Cut a piece of So Saffron card stock 5-1/2" x 2". Score at 2-5/8" and 2-7/8".
- Punch each end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.
- Punch out a Scallop Circle from So Saffron card stock. Cut it in half.
- Sponge the edges of the so Saffron card stock pieces with a Daffodil Delight or Pumpkin Pie ink.
- Attach the half circles to the body of the chick for your wings.
- Add Google Eyes and a Pumpkin Pie triangle to create the face. (I used the tip of the Pennant Punch to get my triangle)
- Decorate however you want. I used a Whisper White Banner stamped with the Yippee-Skippee! stamp set.
- Slide in your Chocolate and tie the top through the punched holes with some Whisper White grosgrain.
Happy Easter Everyone!!!
