Ok – I admit it – I have a problem with designer series paper. I LOVE to buy it – and then I just can't bring myself to use it – what if Some day I have the PERFECT project for that paper and I don't have it…. I know – like I don't know where to buy more right??

Ok so admitting you have a problem is the first step – I've been working on that for a couple of years now – and I'm happy to say I've made great improvement in actually using my designer series paper – and it's been great because I actually get to enjoy the paper on projects today instead of it hiding in my paper box down in the basement. But I still find every now and then that I have a hard time cutting into a REALLY fabulous piece of  paper…. Finally – along came the PERFECT solution! 🙂

Did you know with the My Digital Studio Downloads you can print out your own papers?? Even if you don't have the My Digital Studio program you can still purchase the papers and use them in your own photo editing programs. And if all you're creating is a sheet of background paper you can just open up your word processing program – insert the picture file and print away… Are you as excited as me yet??? WAIT there 's more – you can print out that DSP onto card stock when you want a stronger paper to create a box or book cover AND when you want stickers you can print out the DSP right onto your Sticker paper or labels. Now you have DSP that doesn't even need adhesive!! That's how I created the Nugget wrappers I made for our Stamp Camp Trick or Treating yesterday!

As I promoised I'm back to show you guys what I created for our Trick or Treat swap.

First up the Nuggest I was talking about.

These were so fun and simple to make I easily made up a whole bowl of them!

Mom was Trick or Treating too – and we needed a treat for her so I decided to make some Owls pearched on a stick of Sixlets.

These were another easy treat. I just made up some owls using our 2 Step Owl punch and then attached it to a stick of sixlets. Then I sandwiched a second owl body on the back to help them stand up.

Did you know you can punch an owl body our of Whisper White card stock, cut off his feet and turn him upside down, add some goodly eyes and create a Ghost?? Try it it's FUN!

I also offered up an extra Treat for my favorite swap of the day – so I made up a Mummy…

just wrap some Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon around an empty can. Attach some Circle Punches for Eyes and fill with candy – This would be a fun craft for the kids!! (Just make sure you're using cans or containers with no sharp edges if you're playing with the kiddos!)

Well that's about it – Halloween fun is over and it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas!!

Have a Happy Spooky Halloween!!
