A few weeks ago I hosted a Fabric Flowers Class.

WoolFlowers

We used the Big Shot with several Bigz Dies to cut Hand Dyed Wool. Then we sew or glue the wool together to create these fun flowers. We attached pin backs to the flowers so they can easily be moved around and attached to your favorite things. I've pinned mine to Bags, Hats, Scarves, Clothing, Hair Scrunchies, and so much more!! I love being able to move them around to whatever I want. Of course you could always attach them directly to something or put a different back on them to suite your needs. A clip or hairband are other great options for these flowers.

I held the class at Wool Gatherings a local Fiber shop in Eureka. I simply LOVE their hand dyed wool. It gived the flowers a great real look with the natural light and dark areas of the flowers and They have the most fabulous bright colors avaliable at the shop. You can check out some of the other great colors they have on their website: Wool Gatherings. Everyone at the class had a TON of fun picking out their colors for the flowers. The store had so much fun laying with die cutting their wool they even decided to purchase a Big Shot and some Dies so they could have it on hand at the store for future classes!

Since the class I've heard from LOTS of people who couldn't make it but REALLY wanted to take the class so I've decided to offer this class through the mail – stay tuned for all the details tomorrow!

I love the teal blue wool flower and would like to know how it’s made!

    Hi Lynn,
Thanks!! That flower is one of my favorites too – it’s the most delicate of all the flowers I made so it breaks easily – But I repair it every time cuz I LOVE it!
I actually have a tutorial with directions for all these flowers – you can purchase it here: http://www.inkrediblestamping.com/inkredible_stamping_with_/inkredible-stampin-tutori.html
(The Teal Flower’s not pictured on the tutorial page – but it is included in the instructions)
    Enjoy!!
