Inkredible Stamping

I’m so happy!! My Christmas Cards are done and in the mail! It was a tough one this year.. things have been too busy. It felt really good to sit down the other day and take some time to myself to play with the stamps and work on the cards. It was a little break from all the crazies!! I didn’t plan very well this year. I designed my card a few minutes before I started working on them .. so I did not have enough paper and supplies to make the cards all the same!! But even that was a fun challenge. I was able to change up the colors a little and make two versions of the same card. I also made up some of the leftovers from the Christmas Card Class and sent those out to family and friends who had not seen the cards at the classes.

So I took all my almost 100 cards to the post office today and put them in the mail and finally it really feels like Christmas!! There is just something about sending out a handmade card to your friends and family that just brings out the spirit of the season! Here’s a peek at the two versions of the card I sent out.

Here is the originals color combinations. I just LOVE this card – it’s so simple but fun.. and I got to use the new Ribbon Originals from the Winter Mini! I love the Cool Caribbean and Real Red Combo..

And Here’s the alternate color combination I came up with since I only had enough Cool Caribbean to make like 20 cards :). If it’s possible I think I love this one even more!! It’s one of those Happy Mistakes.. I’m so glad I didn’t have enough paper and was forced to think up another design! 🙂

I’ve been getting some GREAT cards in the mail from all of you also … when I have a few free minutes I’ll scan some of them in and post them here so I can show off your great work!!
